An Award Winning Modular Counter.
The Café Society Awards were held at Kensington roof gardens recently to celebrate and recognise excellence within the coffee industry.  The Café Society is an organisation dedicated to promoting the development of the café environment in the UK and to encourage high standards in all aspects of the business – from coffee and tea making to service.

The shortlist for the Cafe’ Design Award featured some strong competition from both the high street and the independents, but the winning cafe design concept however was given to CDS Wilman, for their work with a high street retail customer at a new store in Newbury.

Many elements of the fit out were manufactured by CED, including much of the steel fabrication, the chilled pass section and contemporary modular servery counter – which features UV bonded glass serve over points, solid surface worktops and bag rests, all framing the LED back lit fascia panels to customer side.
