Glide Bain Marie Hot Cupboard (Wet & Dry Heat)

The wet & dry heat bain marie hot cupboard forms part of the Glide range of mobile dining carts – a choice of cold, hot & ambient commercial catering carts that combine to form a food severy counter solution as unique as your requirements !

Glide Bain Marie Hot Cupboard (Wet & Dry Heat).
The wet & dry bain marie hot cupboard (no gantry) features a bain marie section with removable container supports, formed in the worktop to accept up to 150mm deep Gn pans (not included).

The Gn pans can be heated by either dry heat or by water from a filled tank with suspended heat elements underneath. A water level fill indicator & manual swivel drain are included. The hot cupboard underneath uses fan blown heating to evenly distribute heat around the cupboard space. The model is made in 4 sizes to suit your servery layout.

The removable Gn container supports allow for a varied mix of Gn containers to be displayed per gastronorm section.

Behind lift-off rear sliding s/steel hot cupboard doors, are two tiers of removable, height adjustable grid shelves for plate/ container storage. The wire shelves distribute heat around the cupboard and support plate holding, dish storage or up to ten 1-1 Gn size (150mm deep) gastronorm containers (not included), depending on the cupboard size. The front/side base panels are finished in leathergrain plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25), Each model comes with lockable castors.

Height Options.
Low Height Model (Glide Junior) – in 850mm or 800mm high options for junior/ primary use.

Accessories & Finishes.

Folding Steel Solid or Tubular Tray Slides. Tray slides add 40mm to unit depth and are set at the worktop height – 55mm.

Colour Finishes To Side/ Front Panels. 11 alternative choices of durable steel, colour & wood effect finishes for hot cupboard front/ side panels, to compliment other selected models in the servery colour scheme.

Gantry Options.

Heated Gantry & Island Heated Gantry.
A reversible self help/ assisted service glass heated gantry or island gantry option provide top heat to the surface of food being held in the bain marie.j

Selection Of Bain Marie Inserts. A choice of glass hotplate adaptors – for short term holding, a spiked carvery insert & a 2 x 4.5 litre soup/ gravy container insert are available, all for use when the heated gantry option is added (Gantry removed for clarity in image above).

Hot cupboard & wet-dry bain marie have separate thermostatic controls, mains power is controlled by neon on/off switch.

Front/side base panels in leathergrain plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25).
Worktop in 304 gd steel, all other external steel surfaces (corner angles/ sliding doors etc.) in 430gd.
Rear hot storage cupboard fitted with removable sliding s/steel doors.
Hot cupboard fitted with adjustable height shelving, removable grid shelves, for easy cleaning.
Fitted with lockable non-marking rubber tyre castors.
Hot cupboard accommodates up to (10) x 1-1 Gn 150mm (d) containers (not included), depending on model size.
All (no gantry) models are supplied with 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz), for connection to dedicated 13A SSO.
2-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz), for connection to dedicated 13A SSO.
3-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 16A commando plug.
4-1 & 5-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 32A commando plug.

Glide Range: Electrical Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections. You can also use cable ramps or similar to protect cables running overground across route ways to help avoid them becoming tripping hazards’

Wall sited application (Wall, alcove, recess or back to back).
Front facing hot storage cupboard fitted with removable sliding s/steel doors.
Bain marie heating elements suspended under the bain marie tank to allow dry or wet use.
Heated bain marie has fully welded s/steel tank, manual fill water level indicator & a swivel arm tank drain (3/4″ BSP lever arm ball valve) underneath.
Bain marie accommodates multiples of 1-1 Gn (max.) x 150mm deep Gn containers with lids (not included).
Removable Gn container supports allow for a varied mix of Gn container sizes to be displayed per gastronorm section.
Fan assisted heating to hot cupboard under with thermostat controls to front.
Hot cupboard & wet-dry bain marie have separate thermostatic controls, mains power is controlled by neon on/off switch.
Hot gantry option is also controlled by neon on/off switch.
Available in 4 no. gastronorm lengths – 825/1175/1525/1875mm (l) x 700mm (d) x 900mm (h).
Rear/side base panels in leathergrain plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25).
Worktop in 304 gd steel, all other external steel surfaces (corner angles/ sliding doors/ valance panel etc.) in 430gd.
Hot cupboard fitted with adjustable height shelving, removable grid shelves, for easy cleaning.
Fitted with lockable non-marking rubber tyre castors.
Hot cupboard accommodates up to (10) x 1-1 Gn 150mm (d) containers (not included), depending on model size.
All (no gantry) models are supplied with 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz), for connection to dedicated 13A SSO.
2-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz), for connection to dedicated 13A SSO.
3-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 16A commando plug.
4-1 & 5-1 Gn model with hot gantry option is supplied with 3m lead & 32A commando plug.

Glide Range: Electrical Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections.
