Glide Eutectic Plate Cold Well

The environmentally friendly eutectic plate cold well is part of the Glide range of mobile dining carts – a choice of cold, hot & ambient commercial catering carts that combine to form a food severy counter solution as unique as your requirements !

Features. The eutectic plate cold well features a series of removable, pre-frozen s/steel plates which sit within the base of the display area. The plates contain a cooling gel and provide a contact cooled surface for storage of fruit, bottled drinks or liquid desserts such as yoghurt pots etc. The display keeps pre-chilled product cold for a typical 2-3 hour lunch period.

This mobile self contained display is available in four different Gastronorm lengths, with locking castors to easily position your equipment around your serving space. When used with the optional ambient gantrys, the cupboard is supplied with a 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz).

The Eutectic Cooling Process. A series of 1/1 Gn size removable s/steel eutectic plates (supplied) are pre-frozen overnight in a freezer. When cold they are placed in the well area. Contact cooling occurs by the transfer of cold energy into the product, which is in contact with the steel surface of the eutectic plate.
Rear Cupboard Storage Area. Features rear ambient cupboard with removable sliding s/steel doors. Inside are 2 tiers of internal grid shelves for plate/ Gn pan storage. The cupboards accept plates, dishes or up to 10x 1-1 Gn 150mm deep Gn pans (not included) depending on model size.
Cold Serving Period. The display keeps pre-chilled product cold for a typical 2-3 hour lunch period. This period can be extended by replacing eutectic plates with others (which have also been pre-frozen in advance).
Food Types. Ideal for storage of fruit, bottled drinks or liquid desserts such as yoghurt pots etc.
Finishes. Base panel finish plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25), worktop,rear sliding doors & removable eutectic plates in durable food safe s/steel.
Well Storage Depth. The well depth is 100mm deep with the eutectic plates in the base. If used as an ambient display, the total well/ tank depth is 145mm with the eutectic cold plates removed.

Gantry Options.

Eutectic Cold Well LED Gantry. Curved self help/ assisted service glass gantry c/w LED lighting – opaque safety cover, colour 4000k. Reversible curved glass sneeze screen & side glass. A rear control panel/ light switch & 3m lead/ plug are provided.

Eutectic Cold Deli LED Gantry. Assisted service curved glass gantry c/w LED lighting – opaque safety cover, colour 4000k. Glass mid shelf/ full front curved glass & side glass. A rear control panel/ light switch & 3m lead/ plug are provided.

Eutectic Cold Island LED Gantry. Self help island curved glass gantry c/w LED lighting – opaque safety cover, colour 4000k, double curved glass sneeze screen & side glass. A rear control panel/ light switch & 3m lead/ plug are provided.

Height Options.

Low Height Model (Glide Junior). Available in 850mm or 800mm worktop heights for junior/ primary use.

Accessories & Finishes.

Folding Steel Solid or Tubular Tray Slides. Tray slides add 40mm to unit depth and are set at the worktop height – 55mm.

Colour Finishes To Base Panels. 11 alternative choices of durable steel, colour & wood effect finishes for cold multideck base panels, to compliment other selected models in the servery colour scheme.

Rear Deli Preparation Shelf. Rear s/steel work surface & 1-1Gn (L) hook over polyethylene cutting board.

Additional Cutting Board. Extra boards can be used in multiples with the rear prep. shelf accessory.

Additional S/Steel Eutectic Plate. Extend your serving period by replacing eutectic plates with other pre-frozen ones.

Glide Range: Electrical Socket Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections. Features

Glide mobile dining cart, eutectic plate cold well with ambient store cupboard to customer side (no gantry).
Wall sited self help application (For wall, alcove, recess or back to back island displays).
Eutectic plates keep pre-chilled product cold for a typical 2-3 hour lunch period.
Uses 1-1 Gn pre-frozen s/steel eutectic cooling plates (included) placed in the well area, the transfer of cold energy occurs when product is in contact with the cold surface.
Ideal for storage of pre-chilled fruit, bottled drinks, liquid desserts such as yoghurt pots etc.
Eutectic well area provides short term contact cooled surface.
Available in 2-1Gn (825mm), 3-1Gn (1175mm), 4-1Gn (1525mm) & 5-1Gn (1875mm) lengths.
Eutectic plate cold well area also accepts 1-1Gn (x100) container pans in the well/ storage area.
Model dimensions: 700 mm (d) x 900mm (worktop h).
Ambient front facing store cupboard fitted with removable sliding plastisol steel doors.
Cupboard fitted with adjustable height shelving, removable grid shelves, for easy cleaning.
Cupboard accommodates up to (10) x 1-1 Gn 200mm (d) containers (not included), depending on model size.
Front sliding doors/rear & side base panels finished in leathergrain plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25).
Worktop in 304 gd. s/steel, all other external steel surfaces in 430gd (base corners/ well area tank/ front valance etc.).
Fitted with lockable non-marking rubber tyre castors.
Power supply – if LED gantry option added: Model supplied with light switch to front valance panel, 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz).

Glide Range: Electrical Socket Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections.
