Glide Twin Heated Plate Dispenser

The twin heated plate dispenser forms part of the Glide range of mobile dining carts – a choice of cold, hot & ambient commercial catering carts that combine to form a food servery counter solution as unique as your requirements !

Glide Twin Heated Plate Dispenser.
The dispenser has two spring loaded, self levelling plate storage sections within a s/steel worktop. Each plate storage section is supplied with a stackable polycarbonate lid, for use during the plate heating process – to retain heat within the dispenser.

The dispenser has a simple control panel to operator side and is supplied with a 3m lead and a 13A UK plug top (0.75 Kw). The dispenser heats plates by use of a thermostat knob & fan assisted heating, which controls the internal air at a max. temp. of 85 degrees C. A neon power on/off switch is also fitted.

Simple Use & Set Up. Each spring loaded dispenser section is adjusted by lifting the four plate guide rods inwards/ outwards, to enable the storage of various diameter plates, between 8”-12” (205mm-305mm) with a total capacity of 88 -106 plates, depending on type. The springs keep the plates below rising to the top of the dispenser, as top plates are removed. Each dispenser can be easily removed to facilitate spring removal for smaller and lighter weight plates.

Standard Finishes. The customer front /side base panels are in leathergrain plastisol steel, colour merlin grey (BS 18B25). The operator rear panel is in s/steel and the worktop is 304 gd. s/steel & other external surfaces are in 430 gd. s/steel. The plate dispenser base has lockable, non-marking rubber tyre castors fitted.

Versatile Positioning.
The dispenser can suite with other Glide dining carts in the counter run, or be used as freestanding. The plate sections are positioned forwards in the top to allow the rest of the worktop to be used for additional plate or cutlery storage behind. The heated plate dispenser can be customised with accessories such as tray slides, tray rails, colour finishes and low height versions for junior/ primary age use.

A wall sited version of the ambient plate dispenser is also available, for alcoves or recesses, c/w front facing steel base panel, if used with other wall sited Glide models with hot cupbd. bases. (See separate model GWSHPD2).

Height Options. Low Height Model (Glide Junior) – in 850mm or 800mm high options for junior/ primary use.

Folding Steel Solid or Tubular Tray Slides – Tray slides add 40mm to unit depth and are set at the worktop height – 55mm.Colour Finishes To Front/ Side Panels – 11 alternative choices of durable steel, colour & wood effect finishes for plate dispenser front/ side panels, to compliment other selected models in the servery colour scheme.

Glide Range: Electrical Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections.
