Glide Refrigerated Cold Well

The energy efficient, environmentally friendly fan blown cold well is part of the Glide range of mobile dining carts – a choice of cold, hot & ambient commercial catering carts that combine to form a food severy counter solution as unique as your requirements !

Features. The cold well circulates a constant stream of cold air within the display area, maintaining pre-chilled food between 2- 5 degrees C, just right for your fruit and vegetables, salads and cold drinks. This mobile self contained display is available in four different Gastronorm lengths, with locking castors to easily position your equipment around your serving space. The display accepts various presentation dishes and up to 5 no. 1-1Gn (x100) container pans.

Digital temperature control, automatic defrost & our auto condensate evaporation tray allow 24 hour operation if required.
All Glide cold displays use a highly efficient, naturally occurring hydrocarbon refrigerant gas within hermetically sealed condensing units, which reduce energy consumption and your carbon footprint !

Glide Cold Well – No Gantry. The mobile, self contained display is available in four different Gn lengths with locking castors, to easily position your equipment around the serving space. The well accepts 1-1Gn (x100) containers in the well/ storage area – perfect for bulk presentation of fruit or other morning goods.
The freestanding model has refrigeration airflow in/ out to operator side, with no ventilation on show to customer side. The fan blown well can achieve temperatures of 0°C to 5°C (max 27°C ambient 55% humidity). A wall sited option is also available that has air in/out to customer side, for use in alcoves or back to back as island displays.

Accessories & Finishes.

Folding Steel Solid or Tubular Tray Slides. Tray slides add 40mm to unit depth and are set at the worktop height – 55mm.

Colour Finishes To Base Panels. 11 alternative choices of durable steel, colour & wood effect finishes for cold multideck base panels, to compliment other selected models in the servery colour scheme.

Rear Deli Preparation Shelf. Rear s/steel work surface & 1-1Gn (L) hook over polyethylene cutting board.

Additional Cutting Board. Extra boards can be used in multiples with the rear prep. shelf accessory.

Gastronorm Pan Support Collar. 1-1Gn removable steel trivet collar, accepts either 1/3, 1/2 or 1/1Gn x 100(d) food containers (Pans Not included).

Glide Range: Electrical Socket Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections. Refrigerated cold well display with integral, energy efficient chilled hydrocarbon refrigeration.

Digital temperature display and control panel (to operator side).
24-hour operation as standard.

Power Supply: Supplied with 3m lead & 13 amp UK plug (13A 230v 50Hz).

Glide Range: Electrical Socket Connections.

Most Glide mobile units are operated by 13A plug top connected to a dedicated single socket outlet (SSO) (13A), unless its’ power supply exceeds 13A.
If connected to a double socket outlet, care must be taken not to exceed the circuit capacity.

Glide Range: Electrical Trailing Lead Protection.

CED recommend the use of proprietary cable covers to protect overground trailing leads, to reduce trip hazards, limit accidental electrical partial plug disconnection and to keep wire safe from impact damage, as damaged cable wire can cause an electrical fault.

‘Route cables to minimise tripping hazards or potential mechanical damage, and in a position that allows them to be safely installed and removed. Give particular care to the position of cable connections.
